Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia has led the charge in finding bipartisan solutions to help children and families access high-quality, affordable child care and early learning opportunities. 

He recently introduced a bipartisan package that would update three existing provisions in the U.S. tax code to help more families afford child care, and create a workforce pilot program to boost the supply of child care workers. He knows that quality early learning and care is not just a building block for young learners but also gives working parents the flexibility they need to provide for their kids and for their futures.
